🔍

Scan for real activity

ClipKeepr compares frames to find genuine movement, with a sensitivity slider tuned to ignore wind-blown vegetation. Parallel processing chews through a full season overnight — stop and resume anytime.

03
🗂️

Review the blanks

Blank clips are moved to a _BLANKS folder — nothing is ever deleted, and your folder structure stays intact. Skim, confirm, reclaim gigabytes.

Made for the woods.
Not the cloud.

🔒

Your spots stay secret

100% offline. Your footage — and your stand locations — never leave your computer. No account, no app, no cellular plan. Just one .exe file.

🌾

Wind-smart sensitivity

Dial the slider up to ignore swaying grass and branches, or down to catch slow movers at the edge of IR range. The log shows the exact motion % for every clip.

🎞️

MP4, AVI & MOV

Trail cameras record in different formats depending on brand and age. ClipKeepr reads them all — mix cameras freely on the same card dump.

Overnight a whole season

Parallel processing uses all your CPU cores. Stop anytime and it resumes right where it left off — already-sorted clips are never re-processed.

🧪

Dry run first

Analyze everything without moving a single file. Check the results, tune the sensitivity to your property, then go live with confidence.

Straight answers.

Which trail cameras are supported? +
Any camera that saves video files to an SD card — Moultrie, Browning, Stealth Cam, Tactacam, Spypoint, Muddy, Bushnell, Wildgame Innovations, GardePro, Vikeri and everything else. If it records MP4, AVI or MOV clips, ClipKeepr can sort it.
I have cellular cameras. Is this for me? +
Cellular cams usually send low-res thumbnails over the air but record full-quality video to the SD card. When you pull those cards at the end of the season, ClipKeepr sorts the full-res footage the same way. And for your non-cellular cams, it replaces the subscription entirely.
Does it delete my clips? +
Never. Blank clips are moved to a _BLANKS subfolder where you can review them before deciding anything. Clips with motion stay exactly where they are, in your original folder structure.
Does my footage get uploaded anywhere? +
No. ClipKeepr runs 100% locally on your Windows PC. Your footage — and the locations it reveals — never leave your computer. No internet connection is needed after download.
How does it handle wind and moving vegetation? +
The sensitivity slider controls how much frame-to-frame change counts as "motion." Swaying grass and branches typically produce much lower motion percentages than a walking animal. Run a dry run first, check the % values in the log, and set the slider so real animals stay and wind gets filtered out. Most users land between 1.0 and 3.0.
It marked a clip with an animal as blank. What do I do? +
First: nothing is lost — the clip is sitting in the _BLANKS folder, just move it back. Then lower the sensitivity: slow movers and night/IR clips often score low, so try 0.5–0.8 for those cards. The dry run log shows the exact % of every clip — find the score of the missed clip and set the slider just below it. That becomes your permanent setting for that camera spot.
Too many wind clips are getting kept as "motion". What do I do? +
Raise the sensitivity. In practice, wind-blown vegetation usually scores under ~2.5% while a walking deer scores above 4% — so a slider setting around 3.0 filters the wind without touching the animals. Every property is different: run a dry run on one card, skim the % scores in the log, and you'll see exactly where your wind clips end and your deer begin.
Can I ask for a feature? +
Yes — email robert.raduly@gmail.com. The most-requested features get built first: AVI support exists because trail cam users asked for it. Pro includes all future updates, so whatever gets added is yours automatically.
How long does a full card take? +
ClipKeepr processes clips in parallel at reduced resolution, so a typical card pull (2,000–5,000 clips) finishes in a single overnight run. Bigger seasons may take a couple of nights — the resume feature means you can stop and continue anytime without losing progress.
What's the difference between Free and Pro? +
Free gives you unlimited dry runs (analysis without moving files) plus 50 live sorts, so you can prove it works on your own footage. Pro removes the limit forever for a one-time $19 — no subscription, ever.
